  My wife and son and I were there for just a night this past August, and have mixed feelings about El Encinar. It is an amazing complex that's just a bit past its prime. The rooms, the lobby/dining area, and the pool & grounds are all HUGE and this place was or could be 5-star. The views are amazing and I would surely recommend this hotel. Just be prepared for hard beds and average amentities. Good breakfast buffet and still worth the stay!

  Service: bad: waiters don't take away the dishes allthough the restaurant is almost empty. They don't even refill the wine if you order a bottle of wine.

  Dinner : BAD - food stays for hours in pots.... not tasty at all. The porcelain dishes and glasses were dirty: bad dishwasher?

  One of the nicest hotels I have ever been to. Perfect location between Valldemossa and Deía. Awesome staff, awesome breakfast and dinner bar, beautiful pool, and you can watch the sunset every night!
